2018 3D Archery Tournament

Thank you to all who attended the Antigonish Archery Assoc. Annual 3D Archery Shoot on Sunday.

A special thanks to all who helped setting up and dismantling targets, without your help our shoots would not be a success.

We had archers from all over Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and even an archer from Florida who found us on the internet and made a trip here to join us…. Our youngest archer was just 6 years old!

Guns vs Bows Competition

Well, it was a fun and interesting Saturday afternoon at the Beech Hill Firing Range where 14 marksmen competed with 14 archers for the highest score after 15 rounds at 25 yards.

Even with a thunderstorm, the archers pulled through with a score of 1407 and the marksmen at 1303.

It was hard to tell if it was the rain or tears in the marksmen eyes in the agony of defeat.
